The Testimony of the New Race in Jesus Christ

“...if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their wrongdoings against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.” 2Corinthians 5:17-21. “[God] sent his own Son [Jesus] in a body like the bodies we sinners have [except without sin or the sin nature]. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins. He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the [Holy] Spirit.” Romans 8:3-4

Man’s old evil race in Adam was set aside,
when Jesus was nailed to the cross that day.
He shed his innocent blood onto the ground
to cover all of our sins, then died and in Him
a new race was born in Jesus’ resurrection.
The old race of Adam has been rejected forever by
God in the death of Jesus. He was the representative
of this old humanity on the cross having had
the sins of the entire world laid upon Him
and taking our place and punishment in His
death. God has completely rejected the
old Adamic race and nothing from that race
is acceptable to God anymore, not even a trace.

That is why God abandoned Jesus for a moment
on the cross, as He received the full punishment
and responsibility for all our sin, as our substitute.
A newly created humanity was born in Christ on His
resurrection day with Jesus Christ in Heaven as the
head of this creation, which is the body of Christ on
Earth and the Church. All things are new in His
resurrection body. No one can come to God now
except through the cross in the body, death, and
resurrection of Jesus Christ and as a member of this
new race. God’s wrath against sin has been satisfied
when this wrath was completely poured out upon Jesus
on the cross as our sin bearer. God, the Father, is now
at rest in Jesus Christ, the Son, from His wrath against
sin and at peace with everyone who is in Christ Jesus,
our Lord, by faith in His work on the cross and in
His resurrection.

Jesus told us we must be born again from above into this
new race by our faith and reliance on Him and the resurrection
eternal life from our Lord placed into us by the Holy Spirit.
Our part is simply to put our faith and rest in what Jesus’
sacrifice on the cross means for us. We have become a new
person, the old person-the old humanity is under the ban of
the cross and when the old deadened sinful ways of the old
creation try to come back, they are met by the Holy Spirit in us,
who fights against them with a “no, go back, you are not in
control any more and have nothing to hold to here, so begone.”

In summary, God Himself came in Jesus to redeem His old creation,
which was separated from Him by sin. He became the One and
only sacrifice in the form of the Lamb of God, Jesus, that was
qualified to and could reconcile the lost race to Him by placing into
Himself all those that would enter into Him by faith; then dying
on the cross suffering the penalty of our sin, placing us in the new
Last Adam-Jesus Christ, rising from the dead, and giving us all His
resurrection life in Jesus Christ as a new creation body, with Jesus
as the head in Heaven and us as His composite body on Earth,
to demonstrate to the world the person, power, and love of Jesus
Christ, our Lord, through each of us empowered by the Holy Spirit.
